Key Stage 5

In our Sixth Form, each student follows an individual Study Programme. This is the agreed set of curriculum and wider aims which will hopefully allow each student to make progress towards their desired next career step, either in higher or further education, training or employment.

Our sixth-form students are following a level 3 study programme, having previously obtained at least 5 GCSEs at grades 5 and above For each student this will normally comprise 3 or 4 A-level courses (or equivalents), Enrichment lessons (which deliver the Lifeskills curriculum), tutorial support, at least one option from an Extended Curriculum programme, a programme of careers guidance and support, and opportunities to gain wider work experience or work-related skills development.
